BitCoin RSI TrendWhat is it?
This indicator will plot the RSI of BTC with a red or green background based on the top and bottom values which you can set.
How to use it?
For example, you want to trade only if the RSI of BTC is between 50 and 70, so the top value is 70 and bottom is 50. If the RSI value between those values the background will be green, else it will be red.
Why to use it?
The buy and sell strength of the BTC controls the other coins, and it is noticeable when the BTC is over sold and the RSI exceeding the 70, the price will reverse its movement to down, thus it is advisable to not open long position if the RSI of BTC is above the 70-75. Also, if the RSI is under 50 there is a big possibility to move down further to the over bought areas. The best is to buy a altcoins when the BTC RSI is between 50 and 70.

Dashboard Interpretation :
LTP - Last Traded Price.
D High - Day High.
D Low - Day Low.
I Points - Shows the contribution of top BankNifty constituents according to its weightage.
PH-PL - "PH - PL" means LTP is trading between Previous Days High( PH ) & Previous Days Low( PL ) which indicates Rangebound-ness.
"+ PH" means LTP is trading above Previous Days High( PH ) which indicates Bullish-ness.
"- PL" means LTP is trading below Previous Days Low( PL ) which indicates Bearish-ness.
ATR - Displays the Daily ATR (Average True Range) (14 period).
DTR - Current Day Range.
DTR% - Current Day Range percentage.
( DTR & DTR%, changes colour based on percent value. < 61.8 is green and > 61.8 is red.)
For example if the Daily ATR is 100 and the current range of the day is 200 this would be 200% the original move.
EMA:-
Default value of 5 is used in Fast EMA.
Default value of 21 is used in Slow EMA.
Default value of 200 is used in EMA (Used for trend direction).
User can change values from input section.
If the colour filled between Fast EMA and Slow EMA is green, the market is in a uptrend
If the colour filled between Fast EMA and Slow EMA is red, the market is in a downtrend.
ADR :-
Plots ADR (Average Day Range) zones are used as support and resistance, ADR zones are calculated using a 5 or 10 day period unless you change the settings.
PDH/PDL :-
Plots Previous Day High(PDH) and Previous Day low(PDL).

You can configure the script with several Options :
Source for Price Buy Div : you can use the close price of the candle (by default) or use the high price of the candle for exemple.
Source for Price Sell Div : you can use the close price of the candle (by default) or use the low price of the candle for exemple.
Source for RSI Div : you can use the close price of the candle (by default) to calculate the RSI .
Theses settings allow you to set a minimum RSI level to reach to activate the Divergence finder (p1 is the first point in time, and p2 is the second one):
Min RSI for Sell divergence(p1) : this is the minimum RSI level to reach for the first of the 2 points of divergence (Default 70) for the SELL Signal
Min RSI for Sell divergence (p2) : this is the minimum RSI level to reach for the second of the 2 points of divergence (Default 60) for the SELL Signal
Max RSI for Buy divergence (p1) : this is the minimum RSI level to reach for the first of the 2 points of divergence (Default 30) for the BUY Signal
Max RSI for Buy divergence (p2) : this is the minimum RSI level to reach for the second of the 2 points of divergence (Default 40 ) for the BUY Signal
Theses settings allow you to set a minimum margin difference between our two points (p1 and p2) to validate the Divergence
Min margin between price for displaying divergence (%) : Set a minimum margin (in % of the price) before the indicator validate this divergence
Min margin between RSI for displaying divergence (%) : Set a minimum margin (in % of the RSI ) before the indicator validate this divergence
Display Divergence label : Choose to display the price of the candle, and the RSI when a divergence is found
Display tops/bottoms : Display where the tops and bottoms are calculated directly on the chart

Heikenashi higher timeframe indicatorThis indicator gives you the ability to display a heiken ashi candle on top of your regular chart. The period of the candle can be changed. The example above shows the 1W heiken ashi candle on top of the 4h candle.
Session candles & reversals / quantifytools— Overview
Like traditional candles, session based candles are a visualization of open, high, low and close values, but based on session time periods instead of typical timeframes such as daily or weekly. Session candles are formed by fetching price at session start (open), highest price during session (high), lowest price during session (low) and price at session end (close). On top of candles, session based moving average is formed and session reversals detected. Session reversals are also backtested, using win rate and magnitude metrics to better understand what to expect from session reversals and which ones have historically performed the best.
By default, following session time periods are used:
Session #1: London (08:00 - 17:00, UTC)
Session #2: New York (13:00 - 22:00, UTC)
Session #3: Sydney (21:00 - 06:00, UTC)
Session #4: Tokyo (00:00 - 09:00, UTC)
Session time periods can be changed via input menu.
— Reversals
Session reversals are patterns that show a rapid change in direction during session. These formations are more familiarly known as wicks or engulfing candles. Following criteria must be met to qualify as a session reversal:
Wick up:
Lower high, lower low, close >= 65% of session range (0% being the very low, 100% being the very high) and open >= 40% of session range.
Wick down:
Higher high, higher low, close <= 35% of session range and open <= 60% of session range.
Engulfing up:
Higher high, lower low, close >= 65% of session range.
Engulfing down:
Higher high, lower low, close <= 35% of session range.
Session reversals are always based on prior corresponding session , e.g. to qualify as a NY session engulfing up, NY session must have a higher high and lower low relative to prior NY session , not just any session that has taken place in between. Session reversals should be viewed the same way wicks/engulfing formations are viewed on traditional timeframe based candles. Essentially, wick reversals (light green/red labels) tell you most of the motion during session was reversed. Engulfing reversals (dark green/red labels) on the other hand tell you all of the motion was reversed and new direction set.
— Backtesting
Session reversals are backtested using win rate and magnitude metrics. A session reversal is considered successful when next corresponding session closes higher/lower than session reversal close . Win rate is formed by dividing successful session reversal count with total reversal count, e.g. 5 successful reversals up / 10 reversals up total = 50% win rate. Win rate tells us what are the odds (historically) of session reversal producing a clean supporting move that was persistent enough to close that way too.
When a session reversal is successful, its magnitude is measured using percentage increase/decrease from session reversal close to next corresponding session high/low . If NY session closes higher than prior NY session that was a reversal up, the percentage increase from prior session close (reversal close) to current session high is measured. If NY session closes lower than prior NY session that was a reversal down, the percentage decrease from prior session close to current session low is measured.
Average magnitude is formed by dividing all percentage increases/decreases with total reversal count, e.g. 10 total reversals up with 1% increase each -> 10% net increase from all reversals -> 10% total increase / 10 total reversals up = 1% average magnitude. Magnitude metric supports win rate by indicating the depth of successful session reversal moves.
To better understand the backtesting calculations and more importantly to verify their validity, backtesting visuals for each session can be plotted on the chart:
All backtesting results are shown in the backtesting panel on top right corner, with highest win rates and magnitude metrics for both reversals up and down marked separately. Note that past performance is not a guarantee of future performance and session reversals as they are should not be viewed as a complete strategy for long/short plays. Always make sure reversal count is sufficient to draw reliable conclusions of performance.
— Session moving average
Users can form a session based moving average with their preferred smoothing method (SMA , EMA , HMA , WMA , RMA) and length, as well as choose which sessions to include in the moving average. For example, a moving average based on New York and Tokyo sessions can be formed, leaving London and Sydney completely out of the calculation.
— Visuals
By default, script hides your candles/bars, although in the case of candles borders will still be visible. Switching to bars/line will make your regular chart visuals 100% hidden. This setting can be turned off via input menu. As some sessions overlap, each session candle can be separately offsetted forward, clearing the overlaps. Users can also choose which session candles to show/hide.
Session periods can be highlighted on the chart as a background color, applicable to only session candles that are activated. By default, session reversals are referred to as L (London), N (New York), S (Sydney) and T (Tokyo) in both reversal labels and backtesting table. By toggling on "Numerize sessions", these will be replaced with 1, 2, 3 and 4. This will be helpful when using a custom session that isn't any of the above.
Visual settings example:
Session candles are plotted in two formats, using boxes and lines as well as plotcandle() function. Session candles constructed using boxes and lines will be clear and much easier on the eyes, but will apply only to first 500 bars due to Tradingview related limitations. Rest of the session candles go back indefinitely, but won't be as clean:
All colors can be customized via input menu.
— Timeframe & session time period considerations
As a rule of thumb, session candles should be used on timeframes at or below 1H, as higher timeframes might not match with session period start/end, leading to incorrect plots. Using 1 hour timeframe will bring optimal results as greatest amount historical data is available without sacrificing accuracy of OHLC values. If you are using a custom session that is not based on hourly period (e.g. 08:00 - 15:00 vs. 08.00 - 15.15) make sure you are using a timeframe that allows correct plots.
Session time periods applied by default are rough estimates and might be out of bounds on some charts, like NYSE listed equities. This is rarely a problem on assets that have extensive trading hours, like futures or cryptocurrency. If a session is out of bounds (asset isn't traded during the set session time period) the script won't plot given session candle and its backtesting metrics will be NA. This can be fixed by changing the session time periods to match with given asset trading hours, although you will have to consider whether or not this defeats the purpose of having candles based on sessions.
— Practical guide
Whether based on traditional timeframes or sessions, reversals should always be considered as only one piece of evidence of price turning. Never react to them without considering other factors that might support the thesis, such as levels and multi-timeframe analysis. In short, same basic charting principles apply with session candles that apply with normal candles. Use discretion.
Example #1 : Focusing efforts on session reversals at distinct support/resistance levels
A reversal against a level holds more value than a reversal by itself, as you know it's a placement where liquidity can be expected. A reversal serves as a confirming reaction for this expectation.
Example #2 : Focusing efforts on highest performing reversals and avoiding poorly performing ones
As you have data backed evidence of session reversal performance, it makes sense to focus your efforts on the ones that perform best. If some session reversal is clearly performing poorly, you would want to avoid it, since there's nothing backing up its validity.
Example #3 : Reversal clusters
Two is better than one, three is better than two and so on. If there are rapid changes in direction within multiple sessions consecutively, there's heavier evidence of a dynamic shift in price. In such case, it makes sense to hold more confidence in price halting/turning.
TASC 2022.12 Short-Term Continuation And Reversal Signals█ OVERVIEW
TASC's December 2022 edition Traders' Tips includes an article by Barbara Star titled "Short-Term Continuation And Reversal Signals". This is the code that implements the concepts presented in this publication.
█ CONCEPTS
The article takes two classic indicators, the Commodity Channel Index (CCI) and the Directional Movement Indicator (DMI), makes changes to the traditional ways of visualizing their readings, and uses them together to generate potential signals. The author first discusses the benefits of converting the DMI indicator to an oscillator format by subtracting the −DI from the +DI, which is then displayed as a histogram. Next, the author shows how the use of an on-chart visual framework (i.e., choosing the line style and color, coloring price bars, etc.) can help traders interpret the signals produced the considered pair of indicators.
█ CALCULATIONS
The article offers the following signals based on the readings of the DMI and CCI pair, suitable for several types of trades:
• Short-term trend change signals:
A DMI oscillator above zero indicates that prices are in an uptrend. A DMI oscillator below the zero line and falling means that selling pressure is dominating and price is trending down. The sign of the DMI oscillator is indicated by the color of the price bars (which correlates with the color of the DMI histogram). Namely, green, red and grey price bars correspond to the DMI oscillator above, below and equal to zero . Colored price bars and the DMI oscillator make it easy for trend traders to recognize changes in short-term trends.
• Trend continuation signals:
Blue circles appear near the bottom of the oscillator chart border when the DMI is above the zero line and the price is above its simple moving average in an uptrend . Dark red circles appear near the top of the chart in a downtrend when the DMI oscillator is below its zero line and below the 18-period moving average. Trend continuation signals are useful for those looking to add to existing positions, as well as for traders waiting for a pullback after a trend has started.
• Reversal signals:
The CCI signals a reversal to the downside when it breaks out of its +100 and then returns at some point, crossing below the +100 level. This is indicated by a magenta-colored diamond shape near the top the chart. The CCI signals a reversal to the upside when it moves below its −100 level and then at some point comes back to cross above the −100 level. This is indicated by a yellow diamond near the bottom of the chart. Reversal signals offer short-term rallies for countertrend traders as well as for swing traders looking for longer-term moves using the interplay between continuation and reversal signals.

HOW TO USE
Go into the indicator settings and you will see all of the available settings. The first is the ability to turn the tracker info table on or off from the chart, so it saves your portfolio info but let’s you remove it from the chart while trading. Second is the option to move the position of the info table to suit your preference.
Next we get into setting up your portfolio tickers, order size and price. Each ticker lets you set which stock/crypto you bought, then set how much you purchased and then what price you purchased them at.
Go through and set up all of your assets and then turn off any tickers that you don’t need. Once that is all done, your portfolio will be shown on the chart with all the data.

3Commas Bot DCA Backtester & Signals FREEThis is a DCA Strategy backtester + signals, built to emulate the 3Commas DCA bots. It uses your choice of 4 different buy signals, 2 of which can be adjusted in the settings. Everything is customizable so you can backtest specific settings with different buy signals and find the best performing strategy for your risk tolerance and capital. It can be used to backtest strategies on stocks as well, but just make sure your base order is larger than the share price for the entire backtesting range or it will not calculate properly.
You can use this template to code your own buy signals and then backtest them as a DCA strategy if you know some basic pine script.
The indicator shows all of your backtesting orders on the chart. The red line is your take profit level, the blue line is your average price level, the white line is your first order and the green lines are your average down orders. If you enable a stop loss in the settings your stop loss will be shown as an orange line once all of your average down orders have been hit, it will not be set until price has dipped below your covered trading range.
These levels update when things change during backtesting so you can visualize your strategy and how it would perform as well as see if your percentage deviation is large enough to cover dips. When backtesting trades are taken, the chart will show where they were taken(in backtesting) along with info on those trades such as the number each order is, the size of that order and the percentage deviation that order is from the initial buy.
SENDING SIGNALS TO 3COMMAS
Tradingview cannot sync this backtester to 3Commas and with the way alerts are setup for strategies on Tradingview, the best option for you to give signals to your bot would be to use this backtester to figure out what trigger you want to use and then setup that indicator separately to send alerts to your bot. All of the indicators used for signals in this backtester are available for free and can be configured to match this backtester and send alerts to 3Commas for you. Just make sure you set your alerts to once per bar close and don’t use less than a 15 second timeframe because then you could trigger the Tradingview threshold for alerts and get your alerts shut off.
You can also use this backtester with your own buy triggers if you know a little pine script. Just make copy of the script and code in your own buy signals and see how it backtests.
INFO PANEL FOR ANALYZING YOUR STRATEGY
The right hand side of the screen will show an info panel that shows a lot of different information so you can quickly see your bot settings and how it performed right on the screen.
In the top right corner you will see in purple your bot settings. These include your stoploss % if turned on, take profit %, average down order %, average down order % multiplier, volume multiplier, max number of orders allowed and size of your base order.
The top section of the first column “Current Trade” shows these stats: the open trade’s average price, the open trade’s take profit price, the open trade’s PNL, how far price is from your open tarde’s take profit level in percentage, your open position size and number of open orders.
The bottom section of the first column “Overall Performance” shows these stats: total number of trades taken during backtesting range, the largest amount of trades that were open at one time during backtesting, the max drawdown, the average number of bars per trade, gross profit, net profit, percent profit from your initial capital, current portfolio value and your initial capital.
CUSTOMIZABLE OPTIONS TO FIND THE PERFECT STRATEGY
Stoploss On/Off
This will turn your stoploss on or off. By default it is set to off and will not affect anything unless turned on.
Stoploss Percentage
This is the percentage below your final average down order price that will be set as a stoploss to keep your account from going too far in the red on big dips.
Take Profit Percentage - This is the percentage of profit you want the trade to hit before taking profit on your entire DCA trade. This level updates everytime you average down.
Average Down Percentage - This is the percentage that price has to drop from your initial order to initiate your first safety order. If the Average Down Percent Multiplier is set to 1 then this percentage will be the same for every average down order.
Average Down Percentage Multiplier - This multiplies your Average Down Percentage so each safety order needs a larger percentage deviation than the previous one. This keeps your buys closer together at the beginning and further apart when you hit more orders so you can extend your trading range but still be aggressive when price is going sideways.
Volume Multiplier Per New Order - This multiplies the size of each trade based on your base order. If you set it to a 2x multiplier then each average down order will be 2 times the size of the last one. So for example, a $100 base order with a 2x multiplier would have these values for the first 3 average down orders: 200, 400, 800.
Size Of Base Order - This is the size of your first position entry and will be used as a starting point for the volume multiplier. If your base order is $100 then it will buy $100 worth of whatever crypto you are backtesting this on. If you are looking at stock charts, you need to make sure your base order is higher than the share price across the entire backtesting range or it will not perform correctly.
Max Number Of Orders - This is the maximum number of orders the bot can take, including your base order. Adjust this to suit the amount of capital you are willing to allocate to your bot based on how much money it will require to run according to your bot settings.
TIPS ON HOW TO USE FOR BEST RESULTS
If you don’t have a lot of capital to work with, then use longer timeframes with a reasonable take profit percentage so that you don’t need a lot of average down orders. You can also try keeping the volume multiplier close to 1.
You can use the 3Commas dca bot settings page to see how much capital you will need for your strategy if you match it to the settings you have on this indicator. You can also check to see how much of a percentage deviation your bot is covering to make sure you have a reasonable range to trade in and orders to cover big dips. You can also check your coverage by seeing how far down the chart the green lines cover, which are your average down orders.
Make sure the initial capital in the properties tab of the settings has enough to cover all of your orders otherwise you will get unrealistic backtesting results. Also, make sure you leave the order size in the properties tab on contracts so it calculates your trades correctly. The only settings you need to touch in the properties tab is the initial capital. Unless you are trading somewhere that has lower commission fees, then you can change that to match, but leave all the other settings as is for it to function properly.
Increasing the volume multiplier will make your average price and take profit target follow the price action a lot closer as price falls, but it can also lead to having very large orders very quickly once you get into the 1.5-3x multiple range. Try using a high volume multiplier with less safety orders and you will get better results, however you need to have money on the sidelines to add on major dips to keep your bot turning a profit. Be very careful with this as greed and impatience will hurt your overall performance. This bot is meant to make money with lots of small wins so don’t get greedy and make sure you have enough money to cover large dips. If you are being aggressive with your bot, then I recommend only using 25% or less of your portfolio to trade aggressively and then use the smart trade feature on 3commas to add chunks of funds to your trades when price dips below your last safety order. Or if you want it to run without any supervision, then use lower volume multipliers and have lots of safety orders that can cover entire bear markets and still keep buying lower.
It’s a good idea to have some capital on the sidelines that you can add in when price dips quickly. This will help lower your average price and allow your bot to get out in profit quicker. 3Commas bot has a smart trade feature that will allow you to track your average price when adding extra funds and it will automatically update your other orders which is very convenient. Look at the longer timeframes when price dips and only add chunks at major areas where price is very likely to bounce. Or you can be aggressive when trading and add to your position when price dips and is at a likely bounce zone to maximize profits.
Only trade coins that have a good amount of liquidity as the larger your orders get, the harder it will be to sell if there isn’t much liquidity. Also, beware of how large your first order is as it will usually be a market order and can move the market if there is not much liquidity.
Since this bot takes a lot of trades and performs best when taking small profits consistently, you will need to factor in exchange fees. The bot is set to .5% commission(you can change this) on the buy and sell orders as most exchanges charge that amount. Some exchanges offer no fee trading on certain coins so be sure to look around for those so you can keep the commissions and maximize profits.
I strongly encourage you to try out a lot of different setting combinations across multiple different coins and do it across a few months to see how it would have performed under various market conditions. This will help you get a better idea of how much of a percentage deviation you’ll need to be able to cover to keep your bot running and making constant profits. You can also use the deep backtesting feature of the strategy panel to see how it would have done, but just beware that the info panel of the indicator will not reflect deep backtesting results, only the normal backtesting range.
MARKETS
This backtester can be used on any market including crypto, stocks, forex & futures. You just need to make sure your base order is larger than the share price when using this on things besides crypto.

Advanced Donchian Channels
Advanced Donchian Channels displays future donchian channel values based on the current information on the chart.
It displays a normal donchian channel at the specified user length with the future values extending from the current bar.
Depending on the direction of price movement, these values do not repaint. It is known when it does and does not repaint, and the actions are normal. See below for more information.
In a down trend, when the price is making new lows, the future "channel low" value will update every time the low is broken. The mean will also update, since the mean is the average of the channel high and channel low.
In a downtrend, the "channel high" value is concrete . It will not update until the high is broken.
Reverse these examples for uptrends.

How does it know the future values?

Consider This: If we are below the current highest high, going down (aka: not setting new highs), the donchian channel "high" value will create a flat top, the flat top will start to decrease after we go further than our specified length. This is because the highest high within our specified length is no longer what it was previously. This action of time decay is a consistent movement of donchian channels . Because of this I am able to calculate these values before the current bar actually reaches them.
The indicator calculates the current length donchian channel at the current bar and then for every future bar up to your length specified it subtracts 1 from your length, calculates and displays the values accordingly.
The farthest future value is 1 length and the current bar is your specified length.
VALUES WILL ONLY BE UPDATED WHEN THE CHANNEL HIGH OR LOW IS BROKEN.
If price stays within the channel, all the future channel values will become solidified when the time reaches them.
This is not a gimmick, This data is accurate and can be used to help see future price trends

What is Subhashish Pani's (power of stocks) 5 EMA Strategy :-
His strategy is very simple to understand. for intraday use 5 minutes timeframe for selling. You can sell futures, sell call or buy Puts in selling strategy.
What this strategy tries to do is , it tries to catch the tops, so when you sell at top & it turns out to be a reversal point then you can get good profit.
this will hit stop losses often, but stop losses are small and minimum target should be 1:3. but if you stay with the trend you can get big profits.

When ever a Candle closes completely below 5 ema (no part of candle should be touching the 5ema), then that candle should be considered as Alert Candle.

Buy/Sell with extra conditions :
it just adds 1 more condition to buying/selling
1. checks if closing of current candle is lower than alert candles closing for Selling & checks if closing of current candle is higher than alert candles closing for Buyling.
This can sometimes save you from false moves but by using this, you can also miss out on big moves as you'll enter trade after candle closing instead of entering at break of high/low.

Stochastic Vix Fix SVIX (Tartigradia)The Stochastic Vix or Stochastic VixFix (SVIX), just like the Williams VixFix, is a realized volatility indicator, and can help in finding market bottoms as well as tops without requiring bollinger bands or any other construct, as the SVIX is bounded between 0-100 which allows for an objective thresholding regardless of the past.
Mathematically, SVIX is the complement of the original Stochastic Oscillator, with such a simple transform reproducing Williams' VixFix and the VIX index signals of high volatility and hence of market bottoms quite accurately but within a bounded 0-100 range. Having a predefined range allows to find markets bottoms without needing to compare to past prices using a bollinger band (Chris Moody on TradingView) nor a moving average (Hesta 2015), as a simple threshold condition (by default above 80) is sufficient to reliably signal interesting entry points at bottoming prices.

Indeed, as Williams describes in his paper, markets tend to find the lowest prices during times of highest volatility, which usually accompany times of highest fear.
Although the VixFix originally only indicates market bottoms, the Stochastic VixFix can also indicate good times to exit, when SVIX is at a low value (default: below 20), but just like the original VixFix and VIX index, exit signals are as usual much less reliable than long entries signals, because: 1) mature markets such as SP500 tend to increase over the long term, 2) when market fall, retail traders panic and hence volatility skyrockets and bottom is more reliably signalled, but at market tops, no one is panicking, price action only loses momentum because of liquidity drying up.
Compared to Hesta 2015 strategy of using a moving average over Williams' VixFix to generate entry signals, SVIX generates much fewer false positives during ranging markets, which drastically reduce Hesta 2015 strategy profitability as this incurs quite a lot of losses.
This indicator goes further than the original SVIX, by restoring the smoothed D and second-level smoothed D2 oscillators from the original Stochastic Oscillator, and use a 14-period ZLMA instead of the original 20-period SMA, to generate smoother yet responsive signals compared to using just the raw SVIX (by default, this is disabled, as the original raw SVIX is used to produce more entry signals).
Usage:
Set the timescale to daily or weekly preferably, to reduce false positives.
When the background is highlighted in green or when the highlight disappears, it is usually a good time to enter a long position.
Red background highlighting can be enabled to signal good exit zones, but these generate a lot of false positives.
To further reduce false positives, the SVIX_MA can be used to generate signals instead of the raw SVIX.

Oscillator Workbench — Chart [LucF]█ OVERVIEW
This indicator uses an on-chart visual framework to help traders with the interpretation of any oscillator's behavior. The advantage of using this tool is that you do not need to know all the ins and outs of a particular oscillator such as RSI, CCI, Stochastic, etc. Your choice of oscillator and settings in this indicator will change its visuals, which allows you to evaluate different configurations in the context of how the workbench models oscillator behavior. My hope is that by using the workbench, you may come up with an oscillator selection and settings that produce visual cues you find useful in your trading.
The workbench works on any symbol and timeframe. It uses the same presentation engine as my Delta Volume Channels indicator; those already familiar with it will feel right at home here.
█ CONCEPTS
Oscillators
An oscillator is any signal that moves up and down a centerline. The centerline value is often zero or 50. Because the range of oscillator values is different than that of the symbol prices we look at on our charts, it is usually impossible to display an oscillator on the chart, so we typically put oscillators in a separate pane where they live in their own space. Each oscillator has its own profile and properties that dictate its behavior and interpretation. Oscillators can be bounded , meaning their values oscillate between fixed values such as 0 to 100 or +1 to -1, or unbounded when their maximum and minimum values are undefined.
Oscillator weight
How do you display an oscillator's value on a chart showing prices when both values are not on the same scale? The method I use here converts the oscillator's value into a percentage that is used to weigh a reference line. The weight of the oscillator is calculated by maintaining its highest and lowest value above and below its centerline since the beginning of the chart's history. The oscillator's relative position in either of those spaces is then converted to a percentage, yielding a positive or negative value depending on whether the oscillator is above or below its centerline. This method works equally well with bounded and unbounded oscillators.
Oscillator Channel
The oscillator channel is the space between two moving averages: the reference line and a weighted version of that line. The reference line is a moving average of a type, source and length which you select. The weighted line uses the same settings, but it averages the oscillator-weighted price source.
The weight applied to the source of the reference line can also include the relative size of the bar's volume in relation to previous bars. The effect of this is that the oscillator's weight on bars with higher total volume will carry greater weight than those with lesser volume.
The oscillator channel can be in one of four states, each having its corresponding color:
• Bull (teal): The weighted line is above the reference line.
• Strong bull (lime): The bull condition is fulfilled and the bar's close is above the reference line and both the reference and the weighted lines are rising.
• Bear (maroon): The weighted line is below the reference line.
• Strong bear (pink): The bear condition is fulfilled and the bar's close is below the reference line and both the reference and the weighted lines are falling.
Divergences
In the context of this indicator, a divergence is any bar where the slope of the reference line does not match that of the weighted line. No directional bias is assigned to divergences when they occur. You can also choose to define divergences as differences in polarity between the oscillator's slope and the polarity of close-to-close values. This indicator's divergences are designed to identify transition levels. They have no polarity; their bullish/bearish bias is determined by the behavior of price relative to the divergence channel after the divergence channel is built.
Divergence Channel
The divergence channel is the space between two levels (by default, the bar's low and high ) saved when divergences occur. When price has breached a channel and a new divergence occurs, a new channel is created. Until that new channel is breached, bars where additional divergences occur will expand the channel's levels if the bar's price points are outside the channel.
Price breaches of the divergence channel will change its state. Divergence channels can be in one of five different states:
• Bull (teal): Price has breached the channel to the upside.
• Strong bull (lime): The bull condition is fulfilled and the oscillator channel is in the strong bull state.
• Bear (maroon): Price has breached the channel to the downside.
• Strong bear (pink): The bear condition is fulfilled and the oscillator channel is in the strong bear state.
• Neutral (gray): The channel has not been breached.
█ HOW TO USE THE INDICATOR
Load the indicator on an active chart (see here if you don't know how).
The default configuration displays:
• The Divergence channel's levels.
• Bar colors using the state of the oscillator channel.
The default settings use:
• RSI as the oscillator, using the close source and a length of 20 bars.
• An Arnaud-Legoux moving average on the close and a length of 20 bars as the reference line.
• The weighted version of the reference line uses only the oscillator's weight, i.e., without the relative volume's weight.
The weighted line is capped to three standard deviations of the reference.
• The divergence channel's levels are determined using the high and low of the bars where divergences occur.
Breaches of the channel require a bar's low to move above the top of the channel, and the bar's high to move below the channel's bottom.
No markers appear on the chart; if you want to create alerts from this script, you will need first to define the conditions that will trigger the markers, then create the alert, which will trigger on those same conditions.
To learn more about how to use this indicator, you must understand the concepts it uses and the information it displays, which requires reading this description. There are no videos to explain it.
█ FEATURES
The script's inputs are divided in five sections: "Oscillator", "Oscillator channel", "Divergence channel", "Bar Coloring" and "Marker/Alert Conditions".
Oscillator
This is where you configure the oscillator you want to study. Thirty oscillators are available to choose from, but you can also use an oscillator from another indicator that is on your chart, if you want. When you select an external indicator's plot as the oscillator, you must also specify the value of its centerline.
Oscillator Channel
Here, you control the visibility and colors of the reference line, its weighted version, and the oscillator channel between them.
You also specify what type of moving average you want to use as a reference line, its source and its length. This acts as the oscillator channel's baseline. The weighted line is also a moving average of the same type and length as the reference line, except that it will be calculated from the weighted version of the source used in the reference line. By default, the weighted line is capped to three standard deviations of the reference line. You can change that value, and also elect to cap using a multiple of ATR instead. The cap provides a mechanism to control how far the weighted line swings from the reference line. This section is also where you can enable the relative volume component of the weight.
Divergence Channel
This is where you control the appearance of the divergence channel and the key price values used in determining the channel's levels and breaching conditions. These choices have an impact on the behavior of the channel. More generous level prices like the default low and high selection will produce more conservative channels, as will the default choice for breach prices.
In this section, you can also enable a mode where an attempt is made to estimate the channel's bias before price breaches the channel. When it is enabled, successive increases/decreases of the channel's top and bottom levels are counted as new divergences occur. When one count is greater than the other, a bull/bear bias is inferred from it. You can also change the detection mode of divergences, and choose to display a mark above or below bars where divergences occur.
Bar Coloring
You specify here:
• The method used to color chart bars, if you choose to do so.
• If you want to hollow out the bodies of bars where volume has not increased since the last bar.
Marker/Alert Conditions
Here, you specify the conditions that will trigger up or down markers. The trigger conditions can include a combination of state transitions of the oscillator and the divergence channels. The triggering conditions can be filtered using a variety of conditions.
Configuring the marker conditions is necessary before creating an alert from this script, as the alert will use the marker conditions to trigger.
Realtime values will repaint, as is usually the case with oscillators, but markers only appear on bar closes, so they will not repaint. Keep in mind, when looking at markers on historical bars, that they are positioned on the bar when it closes — NOT when it opens.
Raw values
The raw values calculated by this script can be inspected using the Data Window, including the oscillator's value and the weights.
█ INTERPRETATION
Except when mentioned otherwise, this section's charts use the indicator's default settings, with different visual components turned on or off.
The aim of the oscillator channel is to provide a visual representation of an oscillator's general behavior. The simplest characteristic of the channel is its bull/bear state, determined by whether the weighted line is above or below the reference line. One can then distinguish between its bull and strong bull states, as transitions from strong bull to bull states will generally happen when trends are losing steam. While one should not infer a reversal from such transitions, they can be a good place to tighten stops. Only time will tell if a reversal will occur. One or more divergences will often occur before reversals. This shows the oscillator channel, with the reference line and the thicker, weighted line:
The nature of the divergence channel 's design makes it particularly adept at identifying consolidation areas if its settings are kept on the conservative side. The divergence channel will also reveal transition areas. A gray divergence channel should usually be considered a no-trade zone. More adventurous traders can use the oscillator channel to orient their trade entries if they accept the risk of trading in a neutral divergence channel, which by definition will not have been breached by price. If your charts are already busy with other stuff you want to hold on to, you could consider using only the chart bar coloring component of this indicator. Here we only color bars using the combined state of the oscillator and divergence channel, and we do not color the bodies of bars where volume has not increased. Note that my chart's settings do not color the candle bodies:
At its simplest, one way to use this indicator would be to look for overlaps of the strong bull/bear colors in both the oscillator channel and a divergence channel, as these identify points where price is breaching the divergence channel when the oscillator's state is consistent with the direction of the breach.
Tip
One way to use the Workbench is to combine it with my Delta Volume Channels indicator. If both indicators use the same MA as a reference line, you can display its delta volume channel instead of the oscillator channel.
This chart shows such a setup. The Workbench displays its divergence levels, the weighted reference line using the default RSI oscillator, and colors bars on divergences. The DV Channels indicator only displays its delta volume channel, which uses the same MA as the workbench for its baseline. This way you can ascertain the volume delta situation in contrast with the visuals of the Workbench:
█ LIMITATIONS
• For some of the oscillators, assumptions are made concerning their different parameters when they are more complex than just a source and length.
See the `oscCalc()` function in this indicator's code for all the details, and ask me in a comment if you can't find the information you need.
• When an oscillator using volume is selected and no volume information is available for the chart's symbol, an error will occur.
• The method I use to convert an oscillator's value into a percentage is fragile in the early history of datasets
because of the nascent expression of the oscillator's range during those early bars.

This indicator is called a workbench for a reason; it is designed for traders interested in exploring its behavior with different oscillators and settings, in the hope they can come up with a setup that suits their trading methodology. I cannot tell you which setup is the best because its setup should be compatible with your trading methodology, which may require faster or slower transitions, thus different configurations of the settings affecting the calculations of the divergence channels.

• This script uses the new overload of the fill() function which now makes it possible to do vertical gradients in Pine. I use it for both channels displayed by this script.

It plots 5 EMA and Buy/Sell signals with Target & Stoploss levels.
What is Subhashish Pani's (power of stocks) 5 EMA Strategy :-
His strategy is very simple to understand. for intraday use 5 minutes timeframe for selling. You can sell futures, sell call or buy Puts in selling strategy.
What this strategy tries to do is , it tries to catch the tops, so when you sell at top & it turns out to be a reversal point then you can get good profit.
this will hit stop losses often, but stop losses are small and minimum target should be 1:3. but if you stay with the trend you can get big profits.
According to Subhashish Pani this strategy has 60% success rate.
Strategy for Selling (Short future/Call/stock or buy Put)
When ever a Candle closes completely above 5 ema (no part of candle should be touching the 5ema), then that candle should be considered as Alert Candle.
If the next candle is also completely above 5 ema and it has not broken the low of previous alert candle, Then the previous Alert Candle should be ignored and the new candle should be considered as new Alert Candle.
so if this goes on then continue shifting the Alert Candle, but whenever the next candle breaks the low of the Alert Candle we should take the Short trade (Short future/Call/stock or buy Put).
Stoploss will be above high of the Alert Candle and minimum target will be 1:3.
Strategy for Buying (Buy future/Call/stock or sell Put)
When ever a Candle closes completely below 5 ema (no part of candle should be touching the 5ema), then that candle should be considered as Alert Candle.
If the next candle is also completely below 5 ema and it has not broken the high of previous alert candle, Then the previous Alert Candle should be ignored and the new candle should be considered as new Alert Candle.
so if this goes on then continue shifting the Alert Candle, but whenever the next candle breaks the high of the Alert Candle we should take the Long trade (Buy future/Call/stock or sell Put).
Stoploss will be below low of the Alert Candle and minimum target will be 1:3.
Buy/Sell with extra conditions :
it just adds 1 more condition to buying/selling
1. checks if closing of current candle is lower than alert candles closing for Selling & checks if closing of current candle is higher than alert candles closing for Buyling.
This can sometimes save you from false moves but by using this, you can also miss out on big moves as you'll enter trade after candle closing instead of entering at break of high/low.
Note :- According to Subhashish Pani Timeframe for intraday buying should be 15 minutes Timeframe.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a technical indicator that many people use. Its focus indicates the strength or weakness of a stock. In the traditional usage of this point, when the RSI is above 50, it is strong, otherwise it is weak. Above 80 is overbought, below 20 is oversold. This is what the textbook says. However, if you follow the principles in this textbook and enter the actual trading, you would lose a lot and win a little! What is the reason for this? When the RSI is greater than 50, that is, a stock enters the strong zone. At this time, the emotions of market may just be brewing, and as a result, you run away and watch others win profit. On the contrary, when RSI<20, that is, a stock enters the weak zone, you buy it. At this time, the effect of losing money is spreading. You just took over the chips that were dumped by the whales. Later, you thought that you had bought at the bottom, but found that you were in half mountainside. According to this cycle, there is a high probability that a phenomenon will occur: if you sell, price will rise, and if you buy, price will fall, who have similar experiences should quickly recall whether their RSI is used in this way. Technical indicators are weapons. It can be either a tool of bull or a sharp blade of bear. Don't learn from dogma and give it away. Trading is a game of people. There is an old saying called “people’s hearts are unpredictable”. Do you really think that there is a tool that can detect the true intentions of people’s hearts 100% of the time?
For the above problems, I suggest that improvements can be made in two aspects (in other words, once the strategy is widely spread, it is only a matter of time before it fails. The market is an adaptive and complex system, as long as it can be fully utilized under the conditions that can be used, it is not easy to use. throw or evolve):
1. RSI usage is the opposite. When a stock has undergone a deep adjustment from a high level, and the RSI has fallen from a high of more than 80 to below 50, it has turned from strong to weak, and cannot be bought in the short term. But when the RSI first moved from a low to a high of 80, it just proved that the stock was in a strong zone. There are funds in the activity, put into the stock pool.
Just wait for RSI to intervene in time when it shrinks and pulls back (before it rises when the main force washes the market). It is emphasized here that the use of RSI should be combined with trading volume, rising volume, and falling volume are all healthy performances. A callback that does not break an important moving average is a confirmed buying point or a second step back on an important moving average is a more certain buying point.
2. The RSI is changed to a more stable and adjustable RMI (Relative Momentum Indicator), which is characterized by an additional momentum parameter, which can not only be very close to the RSI performance, but also adjust the momentum parameter m when the market environment changes to ensure more A good fit for a changing market.
The Relative Momentum Index (RMI) was developed by Roger Altman and described its principles in his article in the February 1993 issue of the journal Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities. He developed RMI based on the RSI principle. For example, RSI is calculated from the close to yesterday's close in a period of time compared to the ups and downs, while the RMI is compared from the close to the close of m days ago. Therefore, in principle, when m=1, RSI should be equal to RMI. But it is precisely because of the addition of this m parameter that the RMI result may be smoother than the RSI.

For this indicator function, I also make a brief introduction:
1. 50 is the strength line (white), do not operate offline, pay attention online. 80 is the warning line (yellow), indicating that the stock has entered a strong area; 90 is the lightening line (orange), once it is greater than 90 and a sell K-line pattern appears, the position will be lightened; the 95 clearing line (red) means that selling is at a climax. This is seen from the daily and weekly cycles, and small cycles may not be suitable.
2. The purple band indicates that the momentum is sufficient to hold a position, and the green band indicates that the momentum is insufficient and the position is short.
3. Divide the RMI into 7, 14, and 21 cycles. When the golden fork appears in the two resonances, a golden fork will appear to prompt you to buy, and when the two periods of resonance have a dead fork, a purple fork will appear to prompt you to sell.
4. Add top-bottom divergence judgment algorithm. Top_Div red label indicates top divergence; Bot_Div green label indicates bottom divergence. These signals are only for auxiliary judgment and are not 100% accurate.
5. This indicator needs to be combined with VOL energy, K-line shape and moving average for comprehensive judgment. It is still in its infancy, and open source is published in the TradingView community. A more complete advanced version is also considered for subsequent release (because the K-line pattern recognition algorithm is still being perfected).
