Why did my Cash become negative?
This may happen for the following reasons:
- You made a transaction on an asset without having sufficient free cash available. Please note that the commission is also deducted from the Cash value when a transaction is executed. More details in the following article: Portfolio Summary: Portfolio Value and Cash
- You created a portfolio from a watchlist and did not add a deposit.
- You performed a Withdrawal or a Taxes and fees operation without sufficient free cash.
In such cases, the system will automatically detect a negative balance and suggest compensating it through a Deposit transaction.
