New altcoin rally or increasing BTC dominance?

Investing in crypto currency divides the community in 2 parties.
Either, you are focusing on Bitcoin and have a few other coins for the portfolio or you depend to party of Bitcoin doupter, who thinks, BTC is too old.
What we could see is, that BTC steps the ladder towards its old dominance.
After a period of 6 months, BTC could improve its dominance.
In fact, if we have a look on the relationship to Etherium, Ether couldn't keep up with BTC and lost its share, at the moment.
It will be exciting to see, how the market will develop heading to the upcoming event, the BTC halving.
Will there be a new momentum for the Altcoins with the upcoming media attention?
Or can convert BTC this for an old dominance?
