I wish I would have remembered to mention the trading fees on exchanges. (Now to be sure there are peer to peer ways, yet you still pay a premium) But for day or swing trading BTC, there is 1.5%-2.5% maker and taker fees "IN & OUT" so 1 BTC can cost anywhere from $300 to $500 to trade that position @ $10k $100k make that 3-5k . So you, if you're an excellent trader, let's say you make 30% on the trade of 1 BTC, you pay 30% of that IN TAXES and 2.5% to get in and out of the position. you made 15% to hopefully beat the algos and bots. To much stress for the risk to reward IMHO.
