I work as an accountant. I like numbers and analysis. My hobby is music, concerts and kite surfing. I like also new technologies. I am an ordinary guy. I have learned technical analysis from my colleagues on trading view, from courses and books. Within a year I was pretty good at this. I like also new technologies.
Begining On New Year’s Eve in 2014 when I was on Ibiza, one of my friends told me about BTC and cryptocurrencies. I felt this might be the future and started reading about this.
The rest of the story is the following:
1. I bought my 4 BTCs for $270 each. His initial investment was $1080.
2. For a couple of months, I was worried as I lost 20% of the initial investment. Finally, the price has gone up and his budget is even.
3. After 8 months I made 70%. I was ok with that. I am not greedy nor fearful. I am patient.
4. After 16 months my assets were equal to $2600. This is not a fortune but it was a still decent return. I was optimistic and patient.
5. It has been more than 2 years from the initial investment. For the 1st time, 1 BTC is worth more than $1000. Wow, I thought. That's awesome.
6. This is interesting. It doesn't stop growing. I must be cautious. Vigilant mode on. Anyway, it looks magnificent. I am curious what the future brings.
7. This is madness. Everyone is buying. It looks dangerous but I will wait till chart speaks to me.
8. Ok, now I understand. The price peak has not crossed the previous one. Time to sell. 3 BTCs were gone for $15000 each. I will keep one BTC. It may be even worth $ 1 mln one day.
9. This is crazy. My return on investment is anyway over 5000%. I am a lucky man.
10. Finally, EMA has broken the Median again. Many ALTs are 90% discounted. It seems to be very cheap. I will buy BTCs for 30% of my assets. I will observe more indicators and wait till the price bounce up stronger till $6-7K.
So guys. This was a made-up story to give you better insight into how patience and persistence can influence your financial situation. Both greed and fearfulness are equally bad.
John also has a PERSPECTIVE. He invests in technology, ideology and what is also very important he does it with a long-term perspective.
