Before we dive into this I would like to say hi, welcome and thank you for being interested.
After a few months of watching, reading, enjoying and learning from the sideline I decided it was time for me to start contributing too :)
And what better coin to start with than our beloved BTC.
I think it is safe to say that we are close to ending this market wide correction and we can try to look up, carefully.
I say carefully because we could break above 12K and still be in the wedge (2 solid purple trendlines) that has been bringing us down.
That basically means that there could be (many) falls breakout in the near future.
But I will only be fully bullish again when we break above the 50 EMA (in yellow), the 100 EMA (in purple) and hold steady above 10K.
Its going to get interesting when we arrive at (E)
But I'm not too bearish at the moment either, the fact that we finally corrected down to, and found support on, the 200 EMA (in green) was more than welcome and quite healthy.
We didn't see the 200 EMA in months. I would like to combine this happening now with the fact that January has been a calm and corrective month in previous years.
Not to mention the exuberant run up we had prior to where we are now.
Another good indicator is the slight increase in volume the last day or two, and we seem to have found some support on older trendlines (dashed green trendlines).
The only thing that would worry me right meow is a drop below 5K. I don't see that happening yet, but Satoshi help us all if we do.
But what do I know.
