EURUSD, why sometimes FVGs don't seem to fill

EURUSD My opinion on the FVG resting at 1.11



In my opinion it's not gonna be filed (because it's already been)

Two month ago I was fixated on 1.076 (I don't know if anyone cares but whatever) because the volume had not been retested at this level only to realize two weeks later that it would not be retested because it had retested a higher high from earlier instead.



Sometimes for FVGs it's the same. It does not close perfectly just because it found the necessary retest elsewhere.
Here I think it's been filled with the two lows from 21st and 22nd of August instead of the lower low from the current downtrend

You can also consider those failed FVG fills as a clear sign of momentum. The price has found the strength to make an impulsive move (the one I missed lol) without even taking all the orders. That's a clear sign of continuation of the trend

That's why it's better to read the market like this when you're looking for gaps. Here's my advice to anyone trying to trade gaps. And don't forget FVG fills are just a retest of some kind.
