As long as the USD is doing good, Gold will not perform well. Given that US has the strongest economic situation compared to other major countries, USD is likely to go higher. If you look at the Dollar Index going back past 10 years, it just broke out of 10 years long falling wedge. This is a big bullish technical signal.
