IOTA: The True Champ - Wait for IOTA's Ripple/Ethereum Killer Panjang

When the crypto bubble bursts and the dust settles, who will remain as the solid, long term players? I think that is to be seen but from a technology standpoint, blockchain has critical issues for scaling. There are some players trying to make the blockchain more efficient, but the wall is inevitable. The best bet for the future is not in blockchain, but the technology that has solved all of blockchain's issues - that is IOTA's Tangle. I've presented to the IOTA Foundation that they should:
  • Create their own Ripple competitor. With no fees or scaling issues, IOTA is far better. They could create a fork or inflate IOTA itself. Game changer.
  • Create an easy to use Ethereum competitor based on Tangle. A purpose built website for this task. Get millions around the globe using IOTA, creating new uses for it. Get's people excited and makes IOTA more relevant.
  • Get countries to create their own crypto version of currency based on Tangle.
  • Marketing, marketing, marketing! I'll bet most industries that would move to IOTA don't even know they exist. If they understood blockchain's issues, they would not consider any blockchain over Tangle.
  • Whatever the others are doing, Tangle can do better. IOTA just needs to offer their own version.

Blockchain's days are limited, when the financial and other industries wake up to the fact the IOTA's Tangle is far superior. I believe IOTA is the best 'investment' in this space. In fact it may be the only real investment in this space, while all others are more spec plays.

Really annoying, I keep adding comments instead of updating idea!! Argh.

Is IOTA finally breaking free on its own? Hope so, I've been trying to market the positives in areas big money is monitoring. This is not a pump n dump play like the majority of cryptos, IOTA's tech is real (along with a few others). When the washout occurs, there will be a few players standing, IOTA will most likely be one of them. In the actual blockchain tech, Cardano (ADA) and NEM (XEM) seem like the standouts, as they have probably maxed out what blockchain can do?

Komen

Something's up, IOTA is on a tear!

Komen

Now that IOTA is on it's own move apart from bitcoin, I'm sure speculators are taking notice. Watch for a big money move from other cryptos to IOTA. Why be in cryptos that are going down or no where, when IOTA is the real deal? Just be ready for a roller coaster ride, as who knows how high this can go? I think if the IOTA foundation is smart, they will see the benefit in creating non-IoT options for IOTA, that's where the real marketing lies (while building IoT of course).

Komen

Hopefully IOTA will blast through the 3.90 barrier and back to new highs in time.

Komen

The more IOTA goes up - while others are down - the more attention and money will flow in!

Komen

Breaching $4!

Komen

Didn't hold at highs, but this move was for a reason. Looking for more strength coming.

Komen

Huge volume buying came in. Another run soon.

Komen

Finally, IOTA getting some respect. There's nothing Ripple can do, that Tangle can't do far better ;)

Komen

IOTA should be at least at the market cap of Ripple (XRP) as it's a far better technology - wait until the financial, countries and fintech realizes that. We should be moving up dollars, not dimes.

Komen

Taking breather, run to resumer again. Still looking for major moves up, IOTA is too undervalued compared to XRP, especially considering IOTA Tangle is far superior. Aside from IoT, once they create a Ripple/Ethereum killer, this will skyrocket.

I think this article was the reason for the drop: No New Crypto: Coinbase Squashes Exchange Listing Rumors

coindesk.com/no-new-crypto-coinbase-squashes-exchange-listing-rumors/

With the trading volume that the rest of the world and other exchanges produce, I think this whole coinbase thing is over-rated.

In the near term, I'm super pumped about SwissBorg:

Nice ;) thx!

@LisboaGrande, No problem, IOTA looks like the real deal for the future. I wish I got in early, but it's not too late. Looking for money to flow from other cryptos to IOTA when 'investors' see the light. For now, speculators should be noticing the big move and possibly allocate more to IOTA. This will bring more attention as speculators jump on board even more. Can't make price predictions, who knows how high speculators could drive this. End of day, at least IOTA is the real deal.

Thank you man for such a positive comment to everybody who doesn't understand blockhain vs tangle. I hope people realize from a technology standpoint of view who's really the winner. IOTAAA team
Miykael
@joseottvelez, thank you too, I'm new here and not claiming any extra wisdom over anyone else. I wish I got into the 'blockchain' play earlier, but it is what it is. Although the 'herd' mentality in me wants to jump on board Ripple or others, I just can't get past the actual limitations of blockchain. I mean it's ridiculous when you take a good look at it. The positive is that blockchain/bitcoin has opened the door, essentially paved the way for better technologies. I believe that IOTA is it (maybe hashgraph too but they don't have a coin and they don't market it well). I believe IOTA can conquer this space if they would be open to doing what Ripple and Ethereum are doing, instead of just focusing on IoT.

@Miykael, while your idea is more of a fundamental analysis rather than technical analysis, I agree that IOTA's "tangle" is more scalable and flexible than more traditional blockchain tech. IOTA's "tangle" is an example of a DAG. There are a few other crypto assets that use a DAG for a ledger instead of a blockchain. I suggest you check them out, as other DAGs have much smaller market caps and thus higher opportunity for investment returns. DAGs are way more flexible than blockchains, but many teams are still trying to duplicate the completely trustless nature of BTC's blockchain in a DAG. So far, I don't believe that it's been accomplished yet, so current DAG technology usually relies on some degree of trust or centralization, wether it's trusted witnesses or a core set of trusted nodes to run effectively so far. i believe this issue will be solved in the near future. The Crypto asset that can build a completely trustless DAG will be the killer app. For more info on DAGs, check out the basic explanation on wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Directed_acyclic_graph

@Kobekobe, yes I would defer to the expert TA guys for trading based on it. I see what your saying but believe that IOTA is the leader in this and by supporting the leader, they can develop the technology to it's fullest. The others may be great for short spec trades, but IOTA is clearly the current best of breed. In the future they may all get bought out by Google or Microsoft anyway but until then, I'll stick with the leaders and why not speculate on the ones you mentioned. Who are they?
spacemonkeey
Subjective opinion aside, what's your take on current price movement?
Miykael
@spacemonkeey, it's interesting how it was just tracking bitcoin and Ripple went on it's own tear - thanks to the typical buy on rumour, sell on news (pump n dump). I think IOTA is just following bitcoin for now and hoping the market will figure out it needs to move on it's own merit. Then I believe we're looking at good gains from here.
Miykael
@spacemonkeey, possibly just in sideways consolidation (past month), while loosely following bitcoin?
