We had mentioned in our earlier post that Nifty expiry might be capped at 10058 and that is where we are seeing Nifty trading on expiry day.

Not expecting fireworks today. Prima facie Nifty closing likely to be between 10100 - 9980

Nifty 9973Do not be tempted to buy 10000 call option as risk::reward ratio does not look favorable. Fresh data analysis indicates Nifty expiry could be below 10000.
Strategy update
10000 Call option cmp 13 (sold @ 58) [ profit of 45 points]
10200 call option cmp 0.5 (sold 2 lots @ 36) [ profit of 35.5+35.5 = 71 points]
Net 75* (45+71) = Rs 8700/-
Consider booking profits as per risk appetite.
Remember we had initiated the short trade when Nifty was at 9908. Now Nifty is at 9973 and yet we have turned a losing position into a winning trade...
