NQ Range/Targets (09-21-22)

Fed Day two stage post. Yellow is pre rate price action range. I mentioned yesterday that 11936 may be tough for O/N to pass, the NAZ did drop to test TLX 11865. The yellow range is well established and I expect the NAZ will break above 11936. The 2 white arrows are break outs for and after the rate announcement. The 11865 to 12056 range and set ups. Look for trades that can go from these KL's to the nearby tip of white arrow or opposite white arrow. Use 11936 as center or mid range (above 11936 Long and below is Short). I typically do not trade on Fed Day, I may or may not update the post with calls.

NAZ above 11936, look for retest back to 36, Hold is bounce to 12056 and fail is drop to 11865. Tight Range all night, I am just watching for now.

Normal DZ PA or flow is off since release is later. 47 4 hits. Under bottom of 1st 30M is likely a drop out of zone. Stays in and we should see lift.

Before you go long above any Open High, notice that the NAZ has not and usually does not gain above the high of the O/N high. Usually we see a drop prior to a O/N high pass. This may happen or may be way off since we have a release today. A pass of 90 will need a retest from above prior to a decent run higher. This is a common head fake play. Open Range high is 97.

I was not expecting a 4 way day. I have noticed that the NAZ will make bigger counter moves just after a NEW big Move. These are like Ultimate Set Ups that many are not expecting. These are becoming more and more common, mot sure why.

I wanted to point out today's price action and the conviction. Each black is Dead Zone and the blue is Closing hour. two thin lines are open 30, other is O/N. Notice the IDS 50 price activity as compared to other days. In a range bar chart, each bar is painted when the price moves. The point is the point movement or activity with today. The 1st day on chart was CPI, notice the O/N 500 point 15 minute drop. I think we may see some huge O/N limit down selling now. Careful with Longs in O/N.
