Nota
For US Interest rates to have any significant impact on the US housing market the base rate would need to be above 5%, and even then the impact would be relatively mild. People are NOT STUPID! They understand Inflation of 7-8% vs a Mortgage rate of say 6% is a NO BRAINER, you are still getting paid.
So if mortgage rates soften lock it in!
