Since mid-2020, this pair has been locked in a broad sideways consolidation, now carving out a textbook expanding triangle pattern on the weekly chart. This formation—characterized by widening highs and lows—signals increasing volatility and an impending breakout. The price recently staged a decisive rebound from the triangle’s lower trendline, a critical support zone, and has been in a corrective upswing since mid-January 2025.
