The Debt-Laden Wolfpack 🐺 🤔

Next up is Terawulf as promised. Terawulf was my last miner I got interested in but not for the hype around its nuclear mining operation. Moreso, I was looking for miners down major off their highs, and those with a higher max upside. Problem is, this company has over 100 million in debt, and following their monthly and quarterly updates shows that they have no intention to pay it down quickly. Very high risk play!

Technicals : Not much here, as this IPO'd during the peak of the bullrun. 707 algo play is all I got. If WULF can get through this 618 resistance and downtrend line, then we got a nice run shaping up.

I will keep this updated as to their debt. We've seen other miners have massive amounts of debt like this, and paid it off. Pretty sure Bitfarms had a lot of debt at one point for comparison.

Got some good news in the press release Wolfpack. Originally, WULF had some crazy idea that somehow buying miners then running them for Bitmain while they are paid off over the course of a year have since changed their stance. This was a terrible idea! And I am glad they've sinced changed it. Here is the latest update with more details on the expansion. I do expect that we will get some more dilution, so keeping as low an average going into 2024 is critical.

Self-mined 334 BTC in December for a total of 3,401 BTC mined year-to-date

Building 3 at Lake Mariner operationally ready with deployment of 18,500 S19j XP miners expected in February 2024

Planning for additional growth with construction of Building 4 already underway

Expansion of existing HPC project supporting generative AI planned for 2024

Expect to repay approximately $14 million of debt with cash generated in Q4 2023, with an $11 million repayment expected in January 2024

My avg on WULF is 1.41
I don't think I'll be adding any more shares if we do get down to the dollar area. I have a lot of concerns about this company in 2025 due to their debt. If they can pay larger chunks down then they have a chance. Quite a bit of debt will be due end of year and the need high Bitcoin prices to day pay it down.

Getting interesting now. The beta on this is terrible. Even if BTC just sneezes this will dip hard. However, bulls did take out 618 sell algos and both pivots invalidated for bears looking for an impulse. H4 ✌️

Looks like WULF will need more time around 1.50s and waiting for Bitcoin to break upside. But goes to show actually how much some of these miners are underpeforming. In order for WULF to even get back to the 3s it will need Bitcoin over 50k!
