PRS LIVE TESTING #4/100, WE'RE GOING THE LONG ROUTE, TO 2040

When the facts change, PRS will change. That said, the trend is up, way up. We're not going down, that much I can say with confidence. But the way up isn't pretty. If you don't have problem buy and holding, this is the perfect strategy for the next 45-50 days.

I will update with short term charts if I have time. The nature of staircase moves makes maps outside 10 days very difficult to get right, bc you can't tell which side of the band it is at. That's all for now.

The one specific feature of staircase moves is that EVERY SINGLE TIME it looks like it is about to get completely crushed, it reverses all the way back up. And EVERY SINGLE TIME it looks like it's going to jump 3-4% in 3 days, it goes sideways and retests to the point of looking like it is about to get completely crushed, but it then reverses all the way back up. This cycle will repeat MANY MANY times between now and September. The main reason this move is now projected is because the opportunity for a blow off top has been eliminated (notwithstanding war or terrorist attacks).

If you are trading short term shorts, just be aware of the most recent low on a weekly basis. It is unlikely to break this low but maybe 3 times the next 7 seven weeks, and if it does, it will immediately be bought.

Q: How do I know that for sure?
A: I don't. But from where we are standing, based on price action of the last 45+ years, this is what happens.

Q: How do I know we are not double topping on a monthly basis?
A: Formations like this take considerable time to play out. For example in 2011, you can't truly confirm the possibility of a major top until 12 or so months after the top. That is to say, there are major moves that occur before such a top. One of which is a blow off top. WE DO NOT, AND I REPEAT WE DO NOT HAVE A BLOW OFF TOP. PRS was anticipating such a move last week, but within 2 days, it has already been eliminated. And from where we are standing, there is not even 1 hint that we topping before 2000+, probably 2050+ for futures.

NOTE: SOMETIMES TWO OPPOSING STRATEGIES ARE SIMULTANEOUS CORRECT DESPITE BEING ON OPPOSITE ENDS OF THE MARKET.

FOR EXAMPLE: From an intermediate trading perspective (i.e. 2-3 weeks at a time), buying every dip is a strong play. But from a day-trading perspective, every spike is selling opportunity, BC IT'S ALSO TRUE. But where they overlap is this: just because every spike gets sold DOES NOT MEAN IT GETS SOLD ALL THE WAY TO LOWER PRICES PRIOR TO THE SPIKE. Hence the definition of a giant staircase going up.

Q: Why intermediate trades and not short term?
A: Easier to win vs. short term trades.

Q: Why not long term trades?
A: Because markets spend most of the time going sideways. Trading is capturing volatility.
