XAU / USD trend forecast January 13, 2025, SCALPING

This follows the Federal Reserve's (Fed) hawkish pivot in December, diminishing expectations for additional interest rate reductions by the US central bank. As a result, US Treasury bond yields and the US Dollar have climbed higher.

The yield on the benchmark 10-year US Treasury has surged to its highest level since late 2023, while the US Dollar Index, which measures the currency's performance against a basket of six major peers, has risen to a more than two-year high.
