XRP - On Balance Volume Positive Divergence

I have not spent much time with the OBV indicator, but my basic understanding is it essentially indicates the amount of volume driving the price performance.

I also understand that volume proceeds price

This is a 1 day chart on XRP

I also took a look at both ETH and BTC and did not see what I am seeing here

3 main observations at this point:

#1: The 1st blue vertical line from Sep-18 depicts a massive surge in XRP price, moving the OBV above $17B. We have never since gone below $17B

#2: The 2nd blue vertical line shows the beginning of a clear uptrend in OBV while price at the same time has overall been down

#3: Beginning Sep-18, the OBV shows clear volume accumulation, even as the price has been stagnant/decreased in value

This may be one additional leading indicator suggesting a massive price surge is in-store.

I believe this indicator has also been used to signal when institutional investors are "in", and then subsequently when they exit and retail gets in

It appears we have been in a massive accumulation for some time
