FTSE MIB Rises on Wednesday
The FTSE MIB ticked up by 0.2% to trade at the 33,750 level on Wednesday, tracking its regional peers, as the tech sell-off paused and attention remained on crucial U.S. inflation data and the upcoming French elections later in the week.
On the corporate front, Saipem stood out with a nearly 4% rise following an upgrade in its target price by Jefferies analysts.
Additionally, Telecom Italia (+1.2%) and Eni (+0.8%) also performed well.
On the downside, Interpump Group (-0.8%), Unipol (-0.8%), and Mediobanca (-0.7%) were among the top decliners.
