Heiken Ashi Triangles at the Top and Bottom of Screen
The image below shows the comparison to actual Heiken Ashi candles
(Though changing from candles to Heiken Ashi tends to smooth the triangles a little)
"Heikin-Ashi, also sometimes spelled Heiken-Ashi, means "average bar" in Japanese. The Heikin-Ashi technique can be used in conjunction with candlestick charts when trading securities to spot market trends and predict future prices. It's useful for making candlestick charts more readable and trends easier to analyze. For example, traders can use Heikin-Ashi charts...
Goethe A is an Indicator Package that contains multiple leading and lagging indicators.
The background is that shows the local trend is calculated by either two Moving Averages or by a Kumo Cloud. By default the Kumo Cloud calculation is used.
What are those circles?
-These are OBV (or VPT, can be set in the options) Divergences. Red for Regular-Bearish....
You can use this script to backtest Heikin-Ashi bar color change strategy.
You have to apply this script to usual candles and not Heikin-Ashi!!!
Background color indicates HA bar color. On change you'll see green/red arrows and alert will be fired.
Also you can find in the code calculations of all HA OHLC values.
Simple script to view Heiken-Ashi candles below a normal candles chart.
Could also be useful for using HA calcs in strategy scripts on normal candles chart for proper backtesting.
I adapted this to v4 from original v2 script by @samtsui. If you like please remember to give him a Thumbs Up for his original version! ->
This is a STRATEGY based on our popular HAMA Candles Indicator.
It is an "Always On" strategy, meaning it will stay in a Long position until the Short criteria shows up, and then it will close the Long position and immediately enter a Short position.
Since this is a strategy, we added a few more components. The most notable one is the grid at the top right that...
Hi there. This indicator is inspired by Heiken Ashi MTF (by @jdmonto0).
The problem with that indicator was that it repaints and I tried to solve that.
I figured that the reason the other version repaints was because the heiken ashio calculation is based on the close of the candle, and since the higher timeframe candle hasn't closed yet, the value of previous...
To display the Heikin Ashi candle direction on your normal chart, using this script is better than switching between layouts. It includes different display modes so that you can use it alongside other indicators without clashing visually (bar colour/plotted shapes/shapes on flip only), and alerts on changes in direction. Many scripts include some or other of these...
Adds a Heikin-Ashi line to the chart (EMA-based).
Provides alerts triggered when the color goes from green to red and vice versa.
Just add the indicator to the chart, create an alert and select " Heikin-Ashi Trend Alert " from the dropdown. Profit.
Heiken Ashi candles help us to identify a trend.
This strategy simply enters a long when the Heiken Ashi candles turn green and a short when they turn red.
Because of the way BTC price moves in medium term trends, this simple strategy seems effective.
There is a rate of change function applied to avoid some of the choppy sideways action (thanks again to...
The script combines 2 indicators (MACD and Stoch-RSI) and puts them visually directly on the candles - can be used with normal OHLC candles or Heiken Ashi candles. Furthermore, you can derive divergences exremely easy directly visually from the candles as well. Lastly, a SMA 20 high and a SMA 20 low line build a trend channel.
Script is best used in trending...
This script adds red/green blocks to the top of every chart that show the current daily Heiken Ashi candle colour, so even when you're on a 1h or 4h chart you can quickly see if the current day is bullish or bearish. The higher timeframe is customisable too, so if you prefer to use weekly HA values, then now's your time to shine.
Useful for quickly going through...
Overview of Features
This indicator was inspired by the work of "informanerd" in the script called "HTF Candles" as well as the built-in script called "Multi-Time Period Charts" by TradingView. The script will provide a highly customizable interface to specify the higher timeframe resolution for the candlesticks, the type of candle, as well as various styling...
