Parabolic SAR Strategy (on close) [QuantNomad]Created a Parabolic SAR strategy where price has to close under/above the level before for it to reverse. This way it should be a bit more stable and protect you from false breakouts.
It was impossible to adjust the built-in "sar" function so I implemented PSAR from scratch. So if you're interested in how it's work inside you can check the code and probably adjust to your need if you have a custom modification of PSAR in your mind.

Pivot of Pivot Reversal Strategy [QuantNomad]Continue looking for more signifcant pivot points.
This script is based on my "Significant Pivot Reversal Strategy".
In this strategy I use concept of pivot of pivot points.
So for PoP I require that pivot highs point should have 2 lower pivot highs points around them and pivot low 2 higher pivot lows points.
Transparent lines represent usual pivot levels ints.
Not transparent lines represent pivot of pivot levels.

EVWBB Strategy [QuantNomad]It's my new strategy using EVWMA (Elastic Volume Weighted Moving Average).
Now I created a Bollinger Bands strategy where basis level is EVWMA.
It looks pretty interesting but you have to be careful with the entries/exits on the same bar, I'm using stop orders, so on big moves it happens pretty often.
In the next version, I will try to eliminate these issues.
Entry for this strategy happens when price crossover upper for long and lower for short. I exit both short and long on basis level.

EVWMA is a quite interesting moving average where the period of the MA is defined from the volume itself.
It incorporates volume information in a natural and logical way. The EVWMA can be looked at as an approximation to the average price paid per share.
As a volume period, you can use sum of the last x bars volumes.

Strategy for trading in the side market on the BTCUSD one-hour cThis strategy is designed to make money in the bitcoin / dollar side market.
OBS: Only use this strategy if the market is lateral or to trade against the trend. Do not use this strategy to operate in favor of the trend!
Instructions:
- Only use this strategy if the market is moving sideways!
- When it appears "buy" buy;
- When "sell" appears, sell od bitcoins;
- Operate on the hourly bitcoin / dollar chart.
OracleWhere to use?
Oracle gives the best performance on ETH/USD but also works for BTC/USD and some other charts like XAU/USD ( Gold ). Fails for almost all other cryptocurrencies.
Use 1d or 4h time frames only. 2h and 3h also work in some cases. Use Heikin Ashi candles for the best results.
The strategy is still being tested. Use at your own risk.
How to use?
Arrows start pointing upwards and candle closes above the Orange line - Price is likely to go up
Arrows start pointing downwards and candle closes below the Orange line - Price is likely to go down
Also, the orange line can be used as a mental stop loss point.
BITCOINDICATOR StrategyStrategy for BITCOINDICATOR for your own backtesting purposes.
The trade locations mirror the price label values generated by BITCOINDICATOR (You can check by clicking on Strategy Tester > List of Trades). Just like BITCOINDICATOR, this strategy works with all time frames, although higher time frames will result in better average profit per trade.
Inputs:
- Click the gear icon to adjust the backtesting date range inputs.
Properties (gear icon then click properties tab):
- The default initial capital is 0, and the default order size is 1 Contract (1 BTC ) per trade (this gives more weight to the most recent data).
* We recommend keeping the order size in contracts because if you use fiat, the time periods of lower-priced Bitcoin will have a greater impact on the strategy (since those trades would transact more BTC ).
- Pyramiding is the number of trades allowed to be taken in the same direction. The default value is set to 5, although it is rare to see more than 2 trades in the same direction.
* Additional trades in the same direction can be useful for adding on to your position or just for trend confirmation. If you prefer to see every SHORT followed by a LONG and vice-versa, you can change pyramiding to 1.
Side Notes:
- BITCOINDICATOR strategy can also be used for any Altcoin/Stable coin pair (such as ETH/USD). However, you will want to increase the order size from 1 Contract, to suit your Altcoin (For example, at the time of writing: 1 BTC = 47 ETH, so I would trade ETH/USD with an order size of 47 contracts). Of course, you can adjust the order size to the amount that you are actually trading.
- You will notice that the lower the selected time frame, the date range for backtesting becomes more limited. This is because there is a historical bar data limit of 5,000 - 10,000 bars depending on the tier of your TradingView account.

Note: If you choose Once Per Bar, you will receive an alert the instant the trade condition is met. This option is for more aggressive traders as it gets you into the trade earlier, but adds some risk.
- Adjust additional inputs and a custom message (we recommend to add your time frame to your message if you have multiple alerts set up).
