IBM International Business Machines Options Ahead of Earnings

If you haven`t bought the dip on IBM:

Then analyzing the options chain and the chart patterns of IBM International Business Machines prior to the earnings report this week,
I would consider purchasing the 170usd strike price Puts with
an expiration date of 2024-5-17,
for a premium of approximately $2.29.
If these options prove to be profitable prior to the earnings release, I would sell at least half of them.

IBM traded at $165.74 after earnings, and the Puts went up from $2.29 (when I wrote this article) to $5.60 at the close today (a lot higher intraday), for about 2.44X gain!
