USD/CAD weekly chart shows price tearing through weak volume

When price reaches areas of low volume (highlighed by the orange oval) it tends to tear right through because there's less resistance/support.

The USD/CAD weekly chart shows price struggling to get through some areas of high volume, but as soon as it reached an area of low volume it started to tear downwards (highlighed by the red oval).

This downward tear may continue for while.
