USDJPY Long & Medium Terms Target Zone Performance and Outlook
Under Louvre Accord Agreement, USD is independent float, but after the EMS Agreement, the JPY seems to be changed from managed float to independent float based on currency band performance. Thus, USDJPY and USDCHF are best analyzed by long term (2 x medium term of 10 % Louvre Accord).
The actual rates at lower or at upper bands are the measures of the ATWR of the USD band and the JPY band based "long term bands" and not medium or short term bands. The BOJ policy is for JPY as economic and monetary currency.
