First I have to give kudos to my son who I asked to take a shot at creating this little indicator. Nice work son! While trading, one of the things I look for is when price or certain EMA's approach another EMA. The example that I use on this 1 minute SPY chart is an 8 EMA and 20 EMA. I am looking for when the 8 and 20 are within' 3 cents of each other. Many...
Made a new version of my trading system. I have added a cloud that is made with 45 EMA and 104 MA. Now you can choose where to set trailing stop. As shown in the example you set trailing stop under the cloud.
I realise that was unnecessary EMAs (in version 1), so I removed they. The green zone is the original EMAs and the blank and gray ones are projected EMAs. I'm using this to know good entry points and the exits for scalping. (work well only for well defined trends).
This is a indicator with some parts of the ichimoku and EMA. It's my first script so i have used other peoples script (Chris Moody and DavidR) as reference cause I really have no idea myself on how to script with pinescript. Hope that is okay! I use 20M timeframe but it should work with any timeframe! I have not tested this system much so I would really...
This study is the companion of the MMAR, displayed here in this publication. This displays the same information as MMAR, but in a linear format. This measures the possibilities of a trend reversal. If the bar fills over 50% of the opposite color from bottom to top then chances are there will be a trend reversal. Otherwise it is just a reentry point. This study...
This great and simple indicator based on EMA generates information about entry points at close of the candle. First signal is the best entry point but you can re-enter at the next. IMPORTANT: this script does not generate exit signals and those shoud be find using money management rules or else. Perfectly catches long runs in trends at all underlayings (forex,...
This plots a moving average ribbon, either exponential or standard. It provides an easy and fast way to determine the trend direction and possible reversals. Lime : Uptrend. Long trading Maroon : Reentry (buy the dip) or downtrend reversal warning Red : Downtrend. Short trading Green : Short Reentry (sell the peak) or uptrend reversal warning To best determine...
Request for jangseohee, scalar ma system.
This simple indicator projects 4 EMAs above and 4 under the main EMA group.
Update to previous script. Raghee Horners Wave and GRaB candles. Now show/hide the EMA "Wave". Paints candles according to close position relative to ema on high, low and close. Buy blue sell red.
This is a 3 EMA visualization tool. Relative momentum across 3 timeframes are rendered as A/B/C waves. Also, helpful in identifying spike/exhaustion bars. When all the waves are in the same direction, the momentum is very high on that direction. I have made all options configurable, have fun tuning for your instrument :) Complete list of all my indicators:...
Variable Moving Average, often abbreviated as VMA, is an Exponential Moving Average developed by Tushar S. Chande. VMA automatically adjusts its smoothing constant on the basis of Market Volatility. Use this like other Moving Averages. I have added the following options that can be enabled via options page: - Trend Direction Indication: Green = Up trend, Blue =...
This Code Simply Changes the Bar Colors based on if the Bar is Above or Below the EMA. Inputs via the Inputs Tab: Ability to change the EMA Period. Ability to Turn On/Off the EMA Plotted on the Screen ***Note - I used the HLC/3 To determine if the bar/candle is above or below the EMA. This Filters out the Chop and gets rid of many of the False Breaks above or...
This little indicator displays the ratio between the series close and the (default 45) exponential moving average. The idea is to consider buying when the signal is above 1 and sell, or short if aggressive, when the signal crosses below 1. It strikes me as useful when used in conjunction with the MACD and UCSgears' Linear Regression Slope indicator. Using such a...
This plots the moving averages, either exponential or standard. When it is declining it shows the MA in red, green when rising. Trading MA: Bullish when it is rising, Bearish when it is falling
