The main reason that I like this trade is because NZD is appreciating against the other 7 majors. Technically speaking see the chart below which is the NZD weighted average chart against the other majors. The current price level has broken the Flag and Longer TF downtrend channel. Since yesterday it has been trying to retest the upper band of the wedge and now it is ready to go higher

Regarding USD all we need is a flat USD or its depreciation. See the chart below. USD is broken the wedge and heading lower. Even a side way USD is enough for our NU trade.
