GOLD LAST RETRACEMENT BEFORE 1800+
Good day everyone hope you all had a great weekend! As you can see XAUUSD is slow trending up in the channel. We never had a good retracement to re-enter the market. That is since that first inital bullish move on November 9th. This week we expect gold to push a little higher before starting a retracement down. You can not that the first US session will open with more volatility than usual. It can be explain by the fact that there was a holiday closure on friday for US banks.
For this week, the news to watch are :
The speech from Fed Waller taking place right before the sunday open.
The Fed Brainard will speak on monday.
The data for the Producer Price Index to watch on tuesday.
Wednesday will be a big day with the retail sailes and some more Feds speaking.
Thursday we will have the Jobless claims.
To finish the week, we have a the home sales data.
This week will be the first time some Fed will talk since the CPI. It might create extra volatility in the market so be careful!

Gold went out of the inner channel during asian and london session. For now, it will probably just close the gap and resume its bearish move.
